I know the chef was upset about the risotto, but overall the food was wonderful and I learned a lot! Today I had a perfectly hard boiled egg (that was a cinch to peal) on my salad for lunch! Not that that is all I learned! Thank you for having him and I hope he will return!

Once I learned risotto was on the menu, I was looking forward to tasting one with the proper consistency. I was disappointed that it turned out thick. The flavor was good however.

Love his teaching skills---patient and thorough--will take his next classes. He could have been a little better organized, had salad prepped,demo while eating--combine knife skills with salad/risotto prep. and started risotto earlier, and taught technique, etc while stirring. 'Tis comforting to see experts have a goof every now and then. Could he have added more liquid to the risotto at the end to make it more creamy? or is it "when it's done, it's done"?

Was this menu the one that was suggested? I was really disappointed, having loved his last class.

I learned that even accomplished chefs can struggle with a presentation. It was a good event and I gained some useful knowledge.
