We went with another couple back in May and had a great night!! Far exceeded all expectations. Chef John is one of a kind and master of his profession. Food was delicious, venue top notch, wine variety and choices were very good, and Chef John was not only professional but has a great personality. We will definitely be back.

We have been to most of the different cooking events with Chef John and they have all been outstanding. We have enjoyed them as a couple and with a group. The classes are fun, the food is great, staff is wonderful and Chef John is very entertaining.

If you are looking for a fun night with family and/or friends, some drinks, some dancing (!), some cooking tips, and some delicious food, look no further than the Lake Geneva School of Cooking! My family and I celebrated post-Thanksgiving 2018 at a "Steak, Chops and Sauces" class, and we could't have had more fun. From the minute we walked in, Chef John and his team made us feel welcome and right at home, and we were helped one-on-one with preparing an awesome four-course meal, with wine pairings, which we enjoyed after we cooked (no clean up required, thanks to Chef John's crack team of awesome assistants). Thank you for a terrific evening of fun, food, and fabulous cooking!

I wanted to make my husband's 50th birthday special. We made reservations for steaks, chops, and sauces on a friday night with very close friends and had a fantastic time and experience. We met some very nice people. Chef John and Chef Jake were wonderful. The rest of the staff very helpful. An experience I would recommend for all who love food and entertaining! Thank you for making Jeff's day special!

The group had an OUTSTANDING experience at the Lake Geneva School of Cooking. I truly believe we hosted one of the best meetings for this group, and you played a very large role in that success! Your staff was absolutely terrific to work with as well, and we thank each of you for all your hard work and such a delicious meal. You are a gifted chef and host! The first 15 minutes of the meeting on Thursday morning consisted of great stories from the event, and Hans had already put together a commemorative slide show from all of the photos he had taken. Thank you!



I would (and actively will) highly recommend The Lake Geneva School of Cooking to friends and business associates. It was the hit of the meeting!

Chef John,

We wanted to take a moment to thank you for the outstanding job you and your staff did for our client, West Bend, during the President’s Round Table program we recently held in Lake Geneva. We always strive to have at least one off the chart element in each program, and thanks to you, we were able to have TWO on this one.

First, the evening at your cooking school could not have been more perfect, nor more fun. The setting was beautiful, the food was phenomenal, your staff was just the right mix of professional yet relaxed, the music was great and you served as the perfect host. Wow, what a night! Kevin had so much fun, he rated it a “10” with no hesitation.

With one smashing success under our belts, we had no worries going into our final night knowing you would once again be at the helm. And even though Mother Nature DID rain on our parade, you allowed us to wait until the last minute to make the weather call and once again, you and your staff capably rolled with the flow to make sure the evening was a success, even though our outdoor event had to come indoors.

And I haven’t even mentioned the photographer yet. What a tremendous addition to the program! His still photos were terrific and the video is very well done and provided a very special memento of our time in Lake Geneva.

Chef, we can’t thank you enough and I truly hope we’ll have the opportunity to work with you again. For sure, we plan to get a group of friends together to take one of your classes and I wouldn’t be surprised if you see a few familiar faces from our group show up on your doorstep from time to time!

Chef John is such a great teacher. Chef John's reputation in the community has always been that of a 5 star chef. If he owned a restaurant, we would never be able to get a reservation. He is just phenomenal. His classes are so much fun. My husband loves to go to the cooking school. I have done classes with couples and with just the girls. EIther way, it turns out to be an extraordinarily fun evening.

Chef John - Thank you for making my husband's birthday such a wonderfully memorable event! We had such a blast with you and learned so much! The recipes you helped us create were outstanding and we can't wait to try them out for our friends!
