The instructor was: Toby seemed very friendly and helpful and truly enjoyed what he was up there doing.
Complexity of the recipes: It was exactly what I was looking for - not so challenging that I'd never try to do it myself, but because Korean cooking is new to me, it was nice to see someone else do it first. It helped me realize it's all the same techniques/processes I've used before, just different ingredients I need to familiarize myself with.
The food was: Very tasty!
The skills you learned were: Perhaps change this question to say "The information you learned..." because the skills, such as chopping and cooking, were useful, but the overall information about the ingredients, preparation and culture is what I would consider "very useful."
I enjoyed myself and had fun: The atmosphere is very friendly and inviting. I felt very comfortable asking questions and enjoyed the conversation as the food was prepared, then as we ate it. I especially appreciated the tour of the store after class. This is my introduction to Asian cooking and the tour made the store much less intimidating to me. Toby and Naomi are friendly and inviting and set the stage for a very nice evening.
