I enjoyed the atmosphere of the class and being able to observe the little tips and tricks that Toby uses in making dim sum were extremely useful. The class size was large, but we were able to work our way around the different dim sum recipes and practice the techniques.
Looking forward to other participating in other classes.

Of all the recipes we made, the one that I liked best was the water dumpling. I think that was because it was the one recipe all of us thought would fail and it was soooo good!
I went by myself and felt welcome, but I would suggest if you can go with a friend, especially to enjoy the rewards of you labors. Thanks to the chef and his assistants!

I would have liked to make at least one main dish that was vegetarian (other than the broccoli) - maybe a steamed vegetable dumpling? - instead of everything having pork or shrimp in it. Also, the eating time felt rushed and we felt a little hurried to leave. But otherwise, we loved the space and really enjoyed the class!

This was more demo than hands on. Maybe 60/40. BUT I'm not sure how the recipes could have been done otherwise.

Anti fatigue mats would have helped since you are standing so much. Other than that it was fun! Great food! I got some good tips. I posted a couple pics on your FB page.
