The instructor was: Very informative and a wonderful speaker. She did a great job.
The atmosphere was: The instructor set the cheerful tone
Complexity of the recipes: The food was already prepped and some already measured. It made it feel that I was just throwing things in a bowl. The recipes were good but I wouldn't consider them for a special occasion. Possibly taking turns at making the recipes with each group preparing their dish in front of the rest of the class might be more effective, as the instructor adds comments and suggestions. The food was: The salad seemed it was missing an ingredient (sugar which was added in later). It was fun that we all got a chance to build our
The skills you learned were: I was able to lean a couple tips but mostly from the initial speaking. I think working on knife skills and using ingredients in different ways and why should be much more of a focus. Why am I using this and different ways to use the ingredients. maybe a pantry list or shopping list to be able to make all the dishes. Or even where to find them in the store.
I enjoyed myself and had fun: The instructor made it fun.
