Did you have fun in the class?: Always enjoy meeting other class participants. Might have enjoyed some hands-on experience. However, that might have been difficult to include with as many projects as Nick shared in the evening. Given the option, I valued the number of projects completed, and look forward to trying all at home. Will definitely use the Chocolate cookbook.

The food was: All of the recipes were delicious, easy to do with advanced planning, and fabulous chocolate!

The skills you learned were: Enjoyed Nick's practical comments re determining when baked goods are done; ways to simplify or shortcut combining ingredients; using quality ingredients, etc.

Please rate your satisfaction level with your entire Sizzleworks experience.: I'll definitely be back for more classes - Chef Carol always has great classes and I really enjoyed a guest chef experience, too!

Did you have fun in the class?: I got to connect with others I met at past classes, people who had similar interests and the class format was great. This class had no participation in the cooking, but the instructor was so interesting that no one missed it due to his presentation skills.

The food was: We got to experience recipes with varying levels of complexity, interesting techniques and ingredients. Every day recipes and elegant recipes.

The skills you learned were: Nick gave us so many techniques and hints about how to do things like make a paper cone for chocolate decorating, how to whip cream softly and why, how to melt chocolate, how to whip a meringue - even piping skills, how to line pans or prepare a bundt pan.

He was full of wisdom, stories, experience and having books available for him to sign was awesome. He is very personable but still sets himself up as the authority!
