It's very important to ensure that all items are set up prior to the class starting. The students were kept waiting a few times due to missing ingredients for which the chef would have to make a quick run through the store to obtain.
Overall, Chef Carol was terrific, and we loved taking a class that from someone whom we had seen so many times on KCTS Channel 9. Great choice picking her! She made it very easy to understand, and we all seemed to grasp the concepts she taught us right away. I would recommend this class to anyone interested in learning the beginning steps of making sushi. Will there be an advanced class in the future?

Was hoping for a cheaper option. I know this is likely not feasible, but my only concern with the class was that I thought the price/value was just a bit high. Otherwise, the class was very informative and well run.

The "classroom" at Uwajimaya was not ideal. Passerbys and staff helping customers were too close in proximety.
